December at GIIS Abu Dhabi was a whirlwind of entertainment, professional development, and exciting sessions that brought our staff together for a truly memorable experience.

The month kicked off with the Global Schools Award, where our outstanding staff were recognised for their hard work and commitment. It was a moment of pride and joy as we celebrated the achievements of our team, setting the stage for what was to come.

Following the awards, the Global Annual Leadership Summit (GALS) of GIIS Abu Dhabi was organised. This summit provided a platform for our incredible team to come together, brainstorm, and elevate the education game. The discussions ranged from ongoing projects to innovative ideas aimed at enhancing the quality of education and overall responsiveness. The annual summit proved to be a valuable opportunity to identify gaps, improve working structures, and collectively make a positive impact on education.

Amidst the professional development, the team took a well-deserved break at the Dine and Dance event. An evening of fun on Al Maya Island brought staff members together in a relaxed setting, fostering camaraderie and strengthening the bonds that make our team so special. Games, laughter, and shared moments created lasting memories.

The momentum continued with a week-long training session for teachers and senior leadership. Renowned educators Jasmit Kang, Principal of Glendale School, and Dr. Ajith Kanna led insightful sessions. Their expertise and guidance contributed to the continuous growth and development of our educators.
